Sometime back in 2012, one of the World’s best HotRod builders – Gordon Tronson – Saw my 3D Hot Rod renderings (Black Beauty and Blue Cheer) and asked me to help him visualize an idea he had to build the most outrageous Hot Rod ever. He wanted to put four blown V8 engines behind the cab of a 1962 Ford Econoline pickup truck! From a conversation over the phone, I sketched the top center drawing below. The more Gordy and I talked, the more the idea took shape. Once the sketches looked close to what Gordy had in his head, I built a 3D model using Cheetah to see it from different angles. The resulting creation was completed in time to debut the actual Hot Rod at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
